I am currently in Jakarta and my friends invited me to have a lunch at Dinar Seafood by Pluit Plaza (used to be Mega Mall).
We ordered this fish called ‘kudu-kudu’. The meat tasted like chicken amazingly :) That’s what they said haha.
They broiled the fish and a shrimp paste sauce in it. yes inside the cooked fish.
I didnt get a chance to take a picture of it.
It was good overall.
The setting was by the small lake (or river, i cant seem to make it out whether is a river or a small lake). So it feels like you are “by the water” sensation.

Please try it if you have a chance to be in Jakarta. :)

I think a food critic job is awesome!! :D
You are anonymously commenting and criticizing the food that you eat, maybe? I dont know.
There are so many roles in this job. It’s very hard! I guess.
Anyone has advice or tips for me? :)

I’m reading on this articles:

Grr I don’t think I have all that skills…how??

Guess what….I have returned the 2nd time to Prima Taste to try this Black and White Fried rice with pork sausage…

Black and White Fried Rice

The black was the soy sauce and the white was cooked in Pandan leaves. Both combination seems to fit quite well. The sweetness taste comes from the pork sausage. I think a little bit more of salts in it will make the fried rice even tastes better :)

Then we order a side dish of Chicken Satay in Pineapple sauce:
Chicken Satay with Pineapple Sauce
The pineapple sauce sounds exotic :) it tasted good too. The chicken supposedly is fried but it became soft and not crunchy due to too much sauce over it. Tangy feeling as well :) I love tangy feeling hehehe.

Last but not least, I ordered the Tau Suan again :) Those of you who haven’t try, please do so. I would recommend to get your lunch or dinner in Prima Taste.

They said this place is good, and I agree to that statement. hehe.
Prima Taste offers many selections of different type of food :) As some of you may have known that Prima Taste comes from Singapore.

These are the food that we ordered:

The Pork Belly over rice on a hot claypot was delicious but cant compare to the one that we ate in Taipei Airport. :)
The Salt and Pepper fried squid not too salty or pepperish. I wish it would be more pepperish. I was expecting it would be crunchy but it was not.
Love the Tau suan Hot dessert. It is yellow bean cooked in a sweet soup with fried doughnut in it. Not too sweet and it’s tangy :)
Definitely, I will be back for other items :D

Oh btw, the service was great. The waiters were very friendly.

Today, me, diana, nathan and ronny went to eat Pandan Village at Galaxy Mall.
I tried the oxtail soup (Sop Buntut), it was alright at least the meat is tender enough. that means they cooked the oxtail long enough hehe. If someone cooks the oxtail too fast, it will be so hard to chew on the meat :D

Diana ordered the Javanese Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng Jawa). It was good. Both of us love any kind of Nasi Goreng Jawa overall. I think so far it was not the best though.

We ordered side food, Egg Tofu (Tahu telor) and Fried Tofu with Prawn inside. Both of them score quite well i think. The Egg Tofu seems less tastier (no kick the sweet soy sauce is tasteless) than the Malioboro’s.
