Tungku Rempah @ Surabaya

Their speciality is Ayam Tungku Rempah (Tungku Rempah Chicken) and Gurame Saus Emas (Golden Sauce Gurame Fish).
So we ordered those two and we love it.
The chicken is bbq’ed first then there is a special red chili sauce pour over it. Delicious. It made me wanting for more … ooooooohhh
On the fish, I always love Gurame goreng (Fried Gurame) but this time is different, they fried the gurame with salted egg. I think salted egg over anything is pretty good. For example like the Malioboro Salted Egg fried chicken..from my previous post.

I’m sorry I seem to have lost the photo for the bbq’ed chicken…I am going to ask my wife to try to cook this
