Daun Lada at Surabaya

(This is the first time we tried this, since it was my brother’s birthday celeberation)
Ah seafood at its best
We tried a couple of cooking varieties…some of the pictures are below:
The two fishes, the Singaporean Sauce Fish as well as the Barbecue fish. Both of them tasted good. I didn’t get the name of the barbecued fish. It was very weird shape looking fish. It has a pointy nose quite long, i thought it was some sort of saw fish but i dont think so. The meat tasted like chicken..so tender and not so soft
The chili sauce was very hot, onions, tomatoes, chili padi, little bit vegetable oil.
The tiger prawns were good as well (i know the tiger prawn here is so small compare to the US produced :p)
The eggplant was cooked quite differently. They use shrimp paste as the main ingredients and spice it up with a few chili padi.
It was great experience to taste that one unique fish hehehe.
