Ahh, first of all I apologize that I didnt actually take any photo of the food that we ate in this place, Polynesia Cultural Center. But at least I want to share the experience that we had when we visited this cultural center.
It was a very fun and interesting experience for us to know and understand the polynesian cultures, which by the way that Hawaii is part of the polynesian as well.
Below is the island map of the cultural center:

One of the many mini waterfalls that they built:

The dance on the river raft: (IMO, Maori has the best and most body movements among the rest of the cultures)

We walked around and got to learn, know and understanding of the Polynesian Cultures.
Then the evening came up, we went to eat dinner buffet. They had prime rib steak buffet, wohoo
the buffet was overall ok but i think Outback Prime Rib is still the winner :). In the center, they had Luau as well but we didnt take that since we already booked our Luau in Maui, which is our next island trip.
Then after the dinner, we went to watch the ultimate show. The shows talked about the dance of many cultures and their meaning. It was totally different dancing, I think in general, they call it a ‘hula’ dance?? i am not sure hehehe.
This is one of the funny dances, the dance on Fire:

Group dances such as these one:

let me tell you, the men and the women, they know how to hip!!! We were just amazed on how the women can hip that fast. hahaha, I wish my wife can do that :p
Then finally the closing event was the Fire Dance:

Totally, it was an awesome evening and we are glad that we visited this place
For those of you who have not yet gone to this, we HIGHLY recommend to go this. Remember to grab the Ambassador Package and if you meet an Indonesian tour guide in the center, he will pamper you all the way till the tour ends.

wohoo, just arrived in Oahu, HI. from the airplane, waikiki looks very beautiful.
it’s our firstday of honeymoon hehehe.
we checked into our hotel, Sheraton Princess and took a break for awhile for about an hour. Then we walked around the waikiki area.
Then I found this ABC store just right around the corner of the hotel, at first i just saw this one and i thought it was just a mini market in Waikiki. So we got our waters and some snacks. Then we walked a block then found the same store name “ABC Store”, then walk another block, found another one. wow this store is just like starbucks in Seattle except it’s a mini market.
Some people said ABC means Always Bring Cash/Card. But the real meaning to that is Aloha Bring Customers
Then the evening came, we decided to try Sansei as recommended by our friend, erward n lucia.
We ordered the following items, there were not so much but we were quite full when we got there.
The left sushi is called “Veggie Roll”; it has lots of vegetables in it
asparagus, mushroom, carrot, cucumber, sprouts and seaweed. and guessed what, it is smoked. It was the best sushi among the others actually
amazinggg veggie roll.
Then on the right is the as usual, my salmon sushi. I always loved salmon but this salmon just tasted the same as other salmon i’ve tasted before.

Ahh these two below are a very interesting type of appetizer. The one the left is a butterfish fish. Very sweet, tangy and of course delicious. The fish meat itself is very soft just like seabass except i think this is more tender. The skin was a saver
Then on the right is the Ahi Tuna roll with some sauce that I cant recall what they called. It was alright but has a very interesting tase on the sauce, little spicy but with sweetness and wasabi taste. Fried in tempura as well.

Then we finally ordered the ice creams, they were mango and kona coffee (popular coffee in hawaii). I thought I would expect a wow but hehe it was ok
the kona coffee really tasted like frozen coffee. hehehe.

In the end, we took picture of the restaurant name plate

My co-worker, his wife and I went to this Thai restaurant. It’s called Buddha Thai Restaurant. It’s on 2nd avenue nearby the Belltown area.
none of us had been to this place before and we just ended up going in hehe. It was quiet but there were some people were having lunch as well.
The waitress was very friendly to us.
Oh they have lots of cocktails..I think this restaurant turns to night club in the evening.
Browsing through the menu and I wanted to try Pud Thai but my stomach didnt feel like eating pudthai so I ended up choosing Pad See Yew with chicken and 3 stars (spicyness).

It looked good. It came with rice, not that much of rice but lots of meats
Wow with 3stars, I had to scratch my head
hahaha. I think 2stars would be great. Pad See Yew traditional taste is always based on the soy sauce itself, I think. So it was not too sweet and not too salty either, I think it’s just perfect!! And also the fried egg was the best part of it, every bite that I had would have the fried egg in it.
I think overall is very delicious and I didnt regret trying out this place!!
